This website
provides information about the
people who make up our practice team
and who aim to provide the best
medical care for you. The practice
was formed in 1970 and moved to its
current premises in 1987. These
premises were extensively renovated
in 1999 and formally opened in
February 2002 by Susan Deacon the
Minister for Health and Community
Care.
The partnership consists of eight
doctors who serve the Currie,
Balerno and Juniper Green areas.
The practice successfully passed a
‘Practice Accreditation’ award from
the Clinical Standards Board for
Scotland in March 2002.The Practice achieved a 'Quality Practice Award' after
being assessed on the 15th of
December by a team from the Royal
College of General Practitioners.
This award recognises the hard work
and dedication of the whole practice
team to deliver excellent health
care.
The practice has also been approved
as a training practice, which
enables us to have a GP registrar
and GP Retainee.
