Computerisation
The practice is fully computerised
with information with information
being held about our patients on our

point for our doctors and helps us
provide the best possible care for
you. This information is covered

Telephone System
Patient surveys, which have been
done over the last few years, have
shown that at times it can be
difficult to get through to the
surgery by telephone. In response to
this we introduced an automated
attendant, which will allow you to
select the department you require.
However we do advise you where
possible not to call early in the
morning unless your call is urgent.

What we offer
Your doctor will find the best way
of making you well. You will not
always need medication so please do
not expect a prescription on every
visit. Minor illnesses can be
treated in the surgery, however if
your doctor considers that you need
specialist advice or treatment you
may be referred to a hospital. As
illness can strike at any time,
sometimes the demand for the
doctors’ time is much higher than
usual and there is no way of
predicting this. We do try and
respond to fluctuations in illness
on demand but inevitably there are
times when waiting times for
appointments are longer.
